*ST. NICHOLAS DAY. December 6 we celebrate St. Nicholas Day. Today after mass, children from Croatoan and the students of the Croatian School will perform their short recital in the church hall. Afterwards St. Nick will come up to cheer up our children with small gifts.
*PARISH COUNCIL MEETING. Will take place on Tuesday, December 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the conference room.
*CHRISTMAS CONFESSION DAY. It will be on Wednesday, December 13 at 6:00 p.m. There will be two priests available: the parish priest and Fr. Stipe Renić, OFM, pastor of Croatian parish in Montreal. There is an opportunity for confession in Croatian or English language. After the confession, there will be mass at 7:00 p.m. None of the faithful should meet Christmas without sacramental confession unless there is a grave reason. Let's all come together and have a good spiritual preparation for Christmas. Also remember to register your sick and elderly for home visit, so priest can come, hear confession and bring Holy Communion to them before Christmas.
*CATECHISM CLASSES FOR THE CONFIRMANDS AND CANDIDATES FOR THE FIRST COMMUNION. Next catechism class for the candidates for the First Communion will be this Friday, December 8 at 7:45 p.m., and for the confirmands next Friday, December 15, at 7:30 p.m. in the church. Attending Sunday Masses is implied as preparation for receiving the sacraments.
*NEW YEAR'S EVE PARTY – SAVE THE DATE. Our parish will organize New Year's Eve Party this year with music, dinner and dancing. Details to follow. Please, save the date.
*POSSIBILITY OF REMOTE DONATIONS. It's a giving time. If you are not able to bring your gift for the church in person, there is a possibility of remote donation by mailing a cheque or e-transfer to leopoldmandic@rogers.com. Thank you everybody who contributes for the needs of the Church.
