*POPE’S MESSAGE FOR THE 110th WORLD DAY OF MIGRANTS AND REFUGEES. Today, on September 29, the Catholic Church commemorates the 110th World Day of Migrants and Refugees. This special day, marked annually, serves as a reminder to pray, reflect, and take action for those who have been forced to leave their homes in search of safety, dignity, and a better future.

This year’s theme, inspired by Pope Francis’ message, is “God Walks With His People”. It highlights the enduring presence of God in the lives of migrants and refugees and draws a powerful parallel between the biblical exodus of the Israelites and the journeys of today’s displaced individuals. Pope Francis urges us to see the stories of modern migrants as living images of God’s people on their pilgrimage toward hope and freedom.

*MARIAN DEVOTION IN OCTOBER. This week starts October, the month specially dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. We will gather together on Sunday, half an hour before the Mass to pray Holy Rosary and Lauretan Litany. Keep in mind to pray the Rosary daily individually as well.

*FIRST FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. First Friday of the month is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and sacramental confession. Half an hour before the mass there will be eucharistic adoration and a chance for confession in our church. First Friday of every month is dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and prayer for vocation.

*CATECHISM CLASSES FOR THE CANDIDATES FOR THE FIRST COMMUNION AND CONFIRMANDS. Catechism classes have started and go on regular schedule. Communicands have their meeting this Friday, October 4 at 7:30 p.m. in the church. Confirmands will have their meeting next Friday, October 11 at 7:30 p.m. Attending Sunday Mass is standard part of preparations for the sacraments as well as the third God's Commandment.

*REGISTER FOR LITURGICAL ASSOCIATES. We invite everyone interested in taking more active role in the liturgy to talk to the pastor after one of the next few Sunday Masses. First of all, we are looking for altar servers. Parents can register their children of 8 and older. Liturgical readers age 16 and older can register themselves in person. If there is any musical instrument player wishing to join our liturgical players team, he/she is more than welcome to do so.
