MASS INTENTIONS THIS WEEK (FROM 26. I. TO 1. II.)

* SUNDAY OF THE WORD OF GOD. On the 3^rd Sunday in Ordinary Time the Church worldwide celebrates the Sunday of the Word of God. The theme for this year's, Seventh Sunday of the Word of God is: The word of Christ dwells among you, taken from the Letter of Saint Paul to the Colossians. The Sunday of the Word of God is a profoundly pastoral initiative to make it clear how important it is in the daily life of the Church and our communities to refer to the Word of God, a Word that is not confined to a book, but which remains ever alive and becomes a concrete and tangible sign. This Sunday also wants to reconnect us with our Jewish and other Christian denominational brothers in common search for God's will and profounding fellowship.

* DONATION ENVELOPES AND CALENDARS. If you haven't done so already, you can take new envelopes them from the table at the entrance. Thank you everybody for your contribution to keep our parish active. Croatian Catholic calendars I will bring personally to each family during the blessing of the families.

* BLESSING OF FAMILIES. It's ending this week. Sign-up list is still available on the table by the entrance door, or you can email or phone the parish office. During the blessing of home there should be crucifix and a lit candle on the table.

* CATECHISM CLASSES FOR CONFIRMANDS AND CANDIDATES FOR THE FIRST COMMUNION. Soon we will be back with catechism classes. Confirmands will have class the other week, on Friday, February 6 at 7:30 p.m. Candidates for the First Communion will have their class the week after, on Friday, February 13 at 7:30 p.m. Attending Sunday mass is implied for all.
