* ST. NICHOLAS DAY. December 6 is St. Nicholas Day, so the other Sunday, December 7, after mass, St. Nick is coming to make our children happy with small gifts. Bring the children to the mass, and after the mass, the students of the Croatian School and Croatoan will perform their short recital in the church hall.
* CATECHISM CLASSES FOR THE CANDIDATES FOR THE FIRST COMMUNION AND CONFIRMANDS. Catechism classes for the confirmands is this Friday, November 28, at 7:30 p.m. in our church, and for candidates for the First Communion next Friday, December 5 at 7:30 p.m. Attending Sunday Mass is the 3rd God's commandment and a part of sacramental preparation.
* SCREENING OF THE MOVIE „DIVA“. Screening of the movie “Diva ” will be today after the Mass (around 1:00 p.m.) in our church hall. Ticket is $20. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
The movie is based on a true story. It’s the poignant tale of Diva, a beautiful Croatian virgin assigned to marry into the ruling Ottomans. Her story is one of courage, conviction, and inner strength in the face of hostile adversity. Diva remains steadfast and unwilling to compromise her faith, a choice that ultimately leads to tragedy.

*ORGANIZATION OF THE 62ND HNNS SOCCER TOURNAMENT MEETING – INVITATION TO THE COMMUNITY. Jadran Soccer Club will host a planning meeting for the organization of the 62nd HNNS Soccer Tournament which will be held in Ottawa on Labour Day 2026. We invite you if you are interested in volunteering for the organization of the tournament on Saturday November 29th at 7 PM. We will be communicating with community members to advise them of the planned events and how they can assist throughout the year so that we can have a successful tournament.
