* THE HOLY LAND COLLECTION. The Good Friday Collection helps to maintain the Church of the Holy Land by providing educational, pastoral, and social support for Catholic youth and families committed to living their faith in the land where Christ lived, and by maintaining the Holy Sites that are so important to the faith of Christians everywhere. At the request of the Holy See, this Pontifical Collection will be taken during the Good Friday celebration on April 3, 2026. * DIOCESAN WEDDING ANNIVERSARY MASS 2026. For those celebrating 60 (or more), 50, 40, 30, 25, 20, 15, 10 & 5 years of marriage in 2026! At Notre Dame Cathedral on Sunday, May 3, 2:30 pm.  The registration form is now available at https://forms.office.com/r/jpBDLwD0Kg.  Please register before April 16 to ensure your place!

* THE LENT SEASON. The Lent season is coming to an end. It should be marked with fasting, penance and almsgiving. Remember your neighbour in material and spiritual need. Keep in mind obligation of abstinence from meet on Lenten Fridays. Confession Day before Easter in our parish will be this Thursday, March 26 at 6:00 p.m. You can have confession in Croatian or English with me or Fr. Dragan Bolčić, pastor from Montreal. Sign up your elderly and ill for the priest visit, so I could come to listen to their confession and bring them the holy Eucharist. We have the Way of the Cross this Friday at 6:30 p.m. Next Sunday is Palm Sunday, when the Gospel of the Passion of the Lord is read during the Mass, so there will be no Way of the Cross. I invite those who are interested to read Passion of the Lord in the church to remain few minutes on the meeting after the Mass.

* PALM SUNDAY PARISH LUNCHEON. On Palm Sunday, March 29 after Mass, we will have a traditional parish luncheon. Tickets are $30 for adults, $20 for students and children under 6 for free. Book your tickets at the Parish Office (613-722-7135) or Vinko Marinković (613-822-3321) till this Thursday, March 26. We invite volunteers to come and prepare church hall for the event on Saturday, March 28 at 7:00 p.m. Cake donations are welcome as well.

* CATECHISM CLASSES FOR CONFIRMANDS AND CANDIDATES FOR THE FIRST COMMUNION. Candidates for the First Communion will have regular catechism class this Friday, March 27 at 7:30 p.m. Next Friday, April 3 is Good Friday, so there will be no catechism class. Instead, everyone is invited to participate in the Good Friday rites at 3:00 p.m. After Easter, candidates for the First Communion will have their class again as immediate preparation for their First Communion. Confirmands will have their next catechism class on the Friday after Divine Mercy Sunday, April 17 at 7:30 p.m.
