*** ARCHDIOCESE OF OTTAWA-CORNWALL
* INDIGENOUS RECONCILIATION FUND COLLECTION. This weekend, as we mark National Indigenous Peoples Day, we are taking up our final collection for the Indigenous Reconciliation Fund. Thanks to your generosity, our Archdiocese has raised over $1 million toward our $1.2 million commitment. More importantly, your donations are already making a difference. More than 20 amazing projects have received funding — projects that are preserving Indigenous culture and language, bringing youth and Elders together, creating opportunities for learning and healing, and helping Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities build relationships. These are local projects, led by local Indigenous communities, and they are already bearing fruit. Thank you for everything you have already done. If you are able, please consider supporting this final collection and helping us complete our commitment. Donation envelopes for this purpose are available at the church entrance.
*** PARISH
* DEATH NOTIFICATION. On Monday, June 15, our parishioner Miroslav Jozepović has suddenly passed away in Ottawa, at the age of 58. Internment Mass will be held in our parish church at 11 a.m., with the burial on a later date in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Half an hour before the Mass there will be organized Rosary praying. May the Lord grant him eternal rest, and comfort to the family and friends.
