***THE HOLY SEE
*SUNDAY OF THE WORD OF GOD. On the 3rd Sunday in Ordinary Time the Church worldwide celebrates the Sunday of the Word of God, established by pope Francis in 2019. The theme for this year's, Fifth Sunday of the Word of God is: Remain in my Word. Pope'ss intention was to emphasize importance of the Holy Scripture in celebrating, reflecting and spreading the Word of God. This Sunday also wants to reconnect us with our Jewish and other Christian denominational brothers in common search for God's will and profounding fellowship.
*WORLD WEEK OF PRAYER FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY. From 18th till 25th of January. Let us join in prayer, sacrifice and good deeds for this important cause for all Christians.

*DONATION ENVELOPES. If you haven't done so already, you can take new envelopes them from the table at the entrance. Thank you everybody for your contribution to keep our parish active.
*BLESSING OF FAMILIES. Has started after Christmas and goes on until the end of January. Sign-up list are available on the table by the entrance door, or you can email or phone the parish office. During the blessing of home there should be crucifix and a lit candle on the table.

*MAŠKARE - MARDI GRAS COSTUME PARTY. You are invited to Croatoan's annual Maškare party featuring live music from Ottawa's own T.S. Melodije. It will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024 in the church hall. Dress up and join us for a fun evening of live music and dance. Prizes for best costumes will be awarded! Light food and drinks will be available for purchase. Tickets (available at the door only): $20 in costume, $25 no costume.
