*THE WORLD MISSION SUNDAY. Today is The World Mission Sunday. We collect donations for help missions and missionaries. Pope Francis' message for this day has the motto: Go and Invite Everyone to the Banquet. You can find it in full at: https://www.missionsocieties.ca/world-mission-sunday-2024/

*MARIAN DEVOTION IN OCTOBER. October is the month specially dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. We will gather together on Sunday, half an hour before the Mass to pray Holy Rosary and Lauretan Litany. Keep in mind to pray the Rosary daily individually as well.
*CATECHISM CLASSES FOR THE COMMUNICANDS AND CONFIRMANDS. This week the communicands will have their catechism class on Friday, October 25 at 7:30 p.m., and the confirmands on the next Friday, November 1 at 7:30 p.m. in our church. Attending Sunday Mass is standard part of preparations for the sacraments as well as the third God's Commandment.
*FALL PARISH LUNCHEON. It will be on Sunday, November 10, after Mass. Tickets are $30 for adults, $20 for students and free for children under 6. For reservations please call Vinko Marinković (tel. 613-822-3321) or the Parish Office (tel. 613-722-7135). We will be preparing our church hall on Saturday, November 9 at 7:00 p.m. We are looking for volunteers for cleaning, washing dishes and baking cakes for this occasion. If you are willing to participate, please contact pastor or the president of Parish Council.
*CONCERT AND SUPPER WITH BAND „MORE“. On Saturday, November 23 there will be concert with supper. Live music is provided by band „More“ from Split. Tickets are $60 for adults, $40 for students and free for children under 6. For reservations please call Vinko Marinković (tel. 613-822-3321) or the Parish Office (tel. 613-722-7135).
*COMMEMORATION OF FAITHFUL DEPARTED AT CEMETERIES FOR THE ALL SAINTS' AND ALL SOULS' DAY. At Notre Dame cemetery it will be on Saturday, November 2 at 3:00 p.m. On Sunday, November 3 at 2:30 p.m. there will be commemoration at Hope and 4:30 p.m. at Pinecrest cemetery. We will gather at the chapel or the place where most of our parishioners are burried, following by individual blessing of graves.

*FALL AWARDS BANQUET – 85% SOLD OUT. We are excited to announce our Fall Banquet is going to be scheduled for Saturday October 26th 2024 at our Church Hall. Tickets are currently on sale under the following prices. The Banquet is now 85% sold out so get your tickets as soon as possible. Adult Ticket - $95.00. Student 13-22 yrs old/Player Ticket - $85.00.Children 6-12 yrs old - $65.00. After Dinner ticket - $40.00.
For the Banquet we are hopeful that any former Jadran players who played for the original teams in the 1970’s could be in attendance for a special commemoration and photograph. So far 6 Jadran Players from that era have purchased tickets and we were hopeful that at least 10-12 would join us at the banquet.
