*CATECHISM CLASSES FOR THE CONFIRMANDS AND CANDIDATES FOR THE FIRST COMMUNION. Next catechism class for the candidates for the First Communion will be this Friday, December 22, at 7:45 p.m. in the church. After that, there will be a break for Christmas and the blessing of the families. So, next catechism class for the confirmands will be at the beginning of February. Attending Sunday Mass is still part of God's third commandment.
*DECORATING CHRISTMAS TREE IN THE CHURCH. Next Sunday after mass we will decorate the Christmas tree. I invite everyone who is able and willing to stay and help.
*NEW YEAR'S EVE PARTY. Our parish will organize New Year's Eve Party with music, dinner and dancing. Door opens on December 31 at 6:30 p.m. Ticket price: adults $90, students $60, children under 6 for free. Ticket price includes a dinner and a bottle of wine on every table, as well as midnight buffet. There will be DJ music and a raffle. Ticket reservations: Parish office (613-722-7135) and Vinko Marinković (613-822-3321). We will also need volunteers to help us prepare the hall, help in the kitchen, baking cakes, donating stuff for raffle, etc. You can apply at the parish office.
*POSSIBILITY OF REMOTE DONATIONS. It's a giving time. If you are not able to bring your gift for the church in person, there is a possibility of remote donation by mailing a cheque or e-transfer to leopoldmandic@rogers.com. Thank you everybody who contributes for the needs of the Church.
