*CHRISM MASS. Will be at Notre-Dame cathedral on Tuesday, April 15, at 5:00 p.m. During that mass archbishop Damphousse will consecrate oils which will be used for annointing of the sick, confirmands and newly baptized in the next year. Everybody is welcome.

*OFFERINGS FOR THE HOLY LAND. On Good Friday we collect offerings for helping Christians in the Holy Land. Please, be generous. More informations you can find at commissariat.ca.

*THE PALM SUNDAY. Today is Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord. At the church entrance you can have palm branches for blessing. If you'd like to contribute for the branches, you can put the offering in the basket at the entrance.

*EASTER CONFESSION. If we couldn't make to Easter confession last Wednesday, there will be a chance for confession during Holy Triduum, half an hour before the Mass. On the Easter Day there will be no confession. You can still sign up your elderly or sick, who are unable to come to the church, for the priest vist for confession and communion before Easter.

*HOLY TRIDUUM. The most sacred days of the year are ahead of us. Do your best to take part in the liturgy of all three days of the Holy Triduum: Holy Thursday (Mass of the Lord's Supper at 7:00 p.m.), Good Friday (Way of the Cross and the Good Friday rites at 3:00 p.m.) and Holy Saturday (Easter Vigil Mass at 8:00 p.m.). Good Friday is a day of fasting and abstinence of meat. Blessing of food will take place after the Easter Vigil Mass.

*CATECHISM CLASSES FOR CANDIDATES FOR THE FIRST COMMUNION AND CONFIRMANDS. April 18 is Good Friday and there is no catechism classes. Anyway, confirmands and candidates for the First Communion should take active part attending Holy Triduum Masses and rites on Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday. The Friday after Easter, April 25, there will be confession and rehearsal for candidates for the First Communion at 7:30 p.m.

*ST. LEOPOLD MANDIĆ AND MOTHER’S DAY PARISH LUNCHEON. On Sunday, May 11, after mass, we organize a traditional parish luncheon on the occasion of the annual parish patron feast - St. Leopold Mandić Day and Mother's Day. Ticket prices are $30 for adults, $20 for students, free for children under 6 years old. Reservations at the parish office (613-722-7135) and Vinko Marinković (613-822-3321).

*47th ANNUAL CONCERT AND BANQUET. CROATOAN invites you to attend their spring concert and banquet. The CONCERT is on Thursday, May 1 at Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe (101 Centrepointe Drive). Concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 and must be purchased at www.croatoan.ca/springconcert. Don't wait, concert will sell out! The BANQUET is in the church hall on Saturday, May 3. The doors open at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $70 for adults and $60 for seniors, students and performers. Children under 5 are free. Join us for dinner and live music by "Grupa Baština".
