*CHRISTMAS CONFESSION DAY. It will be on Wednesday, December 13 at 6:00 p.m. There will be two priests available: Fr. Dinko and Fr. Stipe Renić, OFM, pastor of Croatian parish in Montreal. There is a chance to have confession in Croatian or English language. After the confession, there will be mass at 7:00 p.m. None of the faithful should meet Christmas without sacramental confession unless there is a grave reason. Let's all come together and have a good spiritual preparation for Christmas. Also remember to register your sick and elderly for home visit, so priest can come, hear confession and bring Holy Communion to them before Christmas.
*CATECHISM CLASSES FOR THE CONFIRMANDS AND CANDIDATES FOR THE FIRST COMMUNION. Next catechism class for the confirmands will be this Friday, December 15 at 7:30 p.m., and for the candidates for the First Communion next Friday, December 22, at 7:45 p.m. in the church. Attending Sunday Masses is implied as preparation for receiving the sacraments.
*NEW YEAR'S EVE PARTY. Our parish will organize New Year's Eve Party with music, dinner and dancing. Door opens on December 31 at 6:30 p.m. Ticket price: adults $90, students $60, children under 6 for free. Ticket price includes a dinner and a bottle of wine on every table, as well as midnight buffet. There will be DJ music and a raffle. Ticket reservations: Parish office (613-722-7135) and Vinko Marinković (613-822-3321). We will also need volunteers to help us prepare the hall, help in the kitchen, baking cakes, donating stuff for raffle, etc. You can apply at the parish office.
*POSSIBILITY OF REMOTE DONATIONS. It's a giving time. If you are not able to bring your gift for the church in person, there is a possibility of remote donation by mailing a cheque or e-transfer to leopoldmandic@rogers.com. Thank you everybody who contributes for the needs of the Church.
