* THE LENT SEASON. We have entered the Lent season, 40 days preparation for Easter, which should be marked with fasting, penance and almsgiving. Remember your neighbour in material and spiritual need. Keep in mind obligation of abstinence from meet on Lenten Fridays. Confession Day before Easter in our parish will be March 26 at 6:00 p.m. You can have confession in Croatian or English with me or Fr. Dragan Bolčić, pastor from Montreal. Sign up your elderly and ill for the priest visit, so I could come to listen to their confession and bring them the holy Eucharist. Way of the Cross will take place in our church every Friday and Sunday, half an hour before Mass.

* PARISH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING. Will be held today after Mass in our church  hall. This year we should elect new members of the parish councils. So, if you are able and willing, I invite you to become more active in our parish activities. All parishioners are invited to come for the meeting.

* FIRST FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. This week we have the First Friday and First Saturday in April. First Friday of the month is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and sacramental confession. Half an hour before the Mass we will have the Way of the Cross and a chance for confession in our church. First Saturday is dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and prayer for vocations.

* TAX RECEIPTS. If somebody didn't pick up his tax receipt, he can do so at the stand by the entrance door.

* CATECHISM CLASSES FOR CONFIRMANDS AND CANDIDATES FOR THE FIRST COMMUNION. Catechism classes go as usual. Confirmands will have class this week, on Friday, March 6 at 7:30 p.m. . Candidates for the First Communion will have their class next week, on Friday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. Attending Sunday mass is implied for all.
